Sage Rubbed

Dried sage is stronger and more flavorful than fresh sage and is delicious with strong veal, seafood, sausage and pork dishes. It is called "rubbed" for the process that is used to remove the stems from dried leaves, leaving the sage pillowy soft and fluffier than other herbs.

Serving Tips:
Sage is well known for its use in stuffings for poultry, fish, game and other meats. Use in pot roast of beef stew. It is good in cheese spreads, vegetable soup and chowders.

Store in a cool, dry place.
